Geoff joined Dyer in 1986 as a Senior Architect and ten years later became a Director. With extensive experience across a range of sectors, his portfolio is characterised by a holistic inter-disciplinary approach to design and delivery.
Geoff’s work often involves the phased construction of large-scale projects requiring the skilful management of a range of services, including masterplanning, new-build, refurbishment, interior design and fit-out. Having designed a number of major campus headquarters for clients and urban regeneration schemes, he has developed particular expertise in delivering projects on sensitive sites (such as Conservation Areas). These have necessitated a detailed level of stakeholder negotiation and public consultation to achieve end-user ‘buy-in’, funding and planning approval.
Geoff’s clients range from private owner-users to large developers and major financial services providers and he has worked closely with all of them, securing a number of repeat commissions and providing a continuity of approach. He has also built up collaborative working relationships with a number of contractors and consultants, thus being able to offer clients an integrated design team with a proven track record of success across a broad spectrum of projects.
